#1 Song This Week, One Year Ago- Charlie Puth- How Long (1st/2 weeks at #1)

New Entrants
~First is out best entrant this week, Sexual Vibe. This is from Charlie Puth's brother, Stephen. He has a low voice when he sings unlike he has a higher pitched voice when he sings. Anyways, the productions straight-away is relaxing and tropical. His voice sounds very sexual (no homo) but, it fits with the smooth production it gets better towards the end of the song, and then last 30 seconds is just great. Success levels are low unless it becomes a hit.

~Next is Tell Me Its Over. Arvil Lavinge is on a comeback I guess. I feel like she could've done better. Head Above Water wasn't that best I when I hear that I say "She's trying to make a comeback?", Because again that song isn't perfect either. However, I'm Hits 1 didn't pick up on that one instead of this one. However, her voice is nice, the production is too generic and gets boring after some listens so I'm not surprised if you see this turn blue.

Tell Me Its Blurbs
~This week was very quiet.

~Limitless shouldn't be rebounding because it's not even a hit, same goes for Ocean To Ocean so I Can easily see be gone next week considering it's not a hit.

~I'm surprised that Tequila and Happier going big again, however, both need to leave the Top 15 soon.

~Not a good week for bands as the biggest drop goes to both Imagine Dragons and the one Fall Out  Boy.

~On the flipside congrats to Dean Lewis with that huge jump, and to be honest I easily saw that coming from miles away.

~It's probably bad that I forgot broken, Back To You, and Don't Leave Me Alone were even on this list.

~As far as exits go, Expectations had a pretty good run though I thought it had more in it. However, Body Talks, dang, from #21. This song had much more left, but as I look at it, it shouldn't have peaked Top 10 as it wasn't really a hit so I guess that was a very random favorite on Hits 1. Also, both songs were getting boring so yeah.

HitBound

  • The Chainsmokers/5 Seconds Of Summer- Who Do You Love (DEBUT)
  • Lil Peep/ILove Makkonen/Fall Out Boy- I've Been Waiting (DEBUT)
  • Ariana Grande- 7 Rings
  • Rita Ora- Let You Love Me
  • Imagine Dragons- Bad Liar
  • Panic! At The Disco- Dancing's Not A Crime
  • The Weeknd/Gestaffelstien- Lost In The Fire
  • Travis Scott- SICKO MODE
  • Post Malone- Wow.
  • Sam Smith/Normani- Dancing With A Stranger
  • Sabrina Carpenter- Sue Me
  • Lauv/Troye Sivan- I'm So Tired
  • grandson- Apologize (DEBUT)
  • Kelsea Ballerini- Miss Me More
  • lovelytheband- Maybe, I'm Afraid
  • Jake Miller- Wait For You
~I just realized Killer Queen by 5SOS has been kicked off making it the first HitBound dropout of 2019.

New Trainees
~First will be Apologize. This song is an absolute mess. The only thing is why it stays in blue is the production in the chorus. Other than that the vocals, lyrics, and the production are all rushed and messed up.

~Anyways, next is I've Been Waiting. Makkonen is very generic when it comes to his voice and to be honest I thought he was a producer instead of the rapper because to me he sounds Lil Peep. However, FOB does great on the track, especially the transitions are just smooth and right.

~Finally is Who Do You Love. This song is amazing. Spot-on production from The Chainsmokers and 5SOS's voices make it perfect. The beat drops and clean and smooth and actual EDM which recently The Chainsmokers have been failing at that. This is really great.
