New Entrants
~First can be 365. Again like said before, not the best from both artists, but good overall. The build-up to the chorus is nice with the production and the verse, and Zedd keeps his production throughout the song, but I didn't hear no clock, so I think Zedd and clock got divorced.

~Next is Dumb Blonde. At first, the song didn't really click, but after more plays, it got better. Avril goes back to more of her old self, but Nicki is great too. Her voice with the verse and the production is very smooth. This was a great collab.

~Next is 3:15. I heard this on Youtube 15 on Hits 1 and it was pretty good. I gotta everything is better than Mine from this time and place, but it'll be pretty hard considering the fact we got a whole line of Alan Walker from #18-#9 excluding those three sandwiched somewhere in there. This is a pretty solid song overall.

~Next is Last Hurrah. This is really good. Bebe's voice is nice though I was the production would be a tad bit better. It's a, you know, I don't know if it's better than I'm A Mess. It might just be that production. Anyways, the song is pretty good and strong overall.

~Almost done, but we got the Feeling Of Falling next to cover. I like the production and it sounds well with Kim's voice. This is a step up from Heart To Break on Kim's part. Her vocals again, fit well with the production and sound good too.

~Finally, we have Austin Mahone who I can only remember from Mmh Yeah and that was a really good song, one of the best I've heard. This might beat it, but probably not. Anyways, his voice changed since then and the production and the lyrics are nice. The little opera beginning is nice too I'll say. Pretty solid will probably do well here.

Possibilities

  • Ariana Grande- breathin'
  • XXXTentacion- BAD!
  • Kehlani/Ty Dolla $ign- Nights Like This

New Entrants
~First we have 365. This automatically, why, I don't know. Anyways, this is not Zedd's best, but it's good. It's a step-down from Lost In Japan and surprising Happy Now. I say the latter because Katy is capable of more too but still shows some talent. It's a good song overall, but not the best from both.

~Next we have Miss Me More. I sense a flop with this song, but whatever. It's decent, it's really forgettable, I mean Kelsea's vocals are good, but it's country so the production bores the hell out of me so yeah there's that.

~Finally we have to Please Me. Like 365 it automatically debuted. Everything is good, but Cardi, Cardi hurts it a tad bit more, I feel like if it was only Bruno, it would be good because the production and Bruno are good it's just Cardi, and I mean the song is 'bout fooking each other, so, flop?

Please Me, Blurbs
~Let's start off with the new color-code. So you've guys probably have can song X leave the Top 10 or song Y to leave the Top 20. So now I'll simply put that on a song I want to leave a certain area within the 10's or 15's like out of the set of 10 or 15, then it'll go back to its normal color, and now songs with no opinion black (no racist just in case some black BuzzFeed feminist is strangely viewing this)

~Seems like Hits 1 is letting go of the older songs as High Hopes, Youngblood, and Love Lies take notable drops.

~Congrats to Close To Me, Sweet But Psycho, and Hey Look Ma, I Made It for making new peaks in the Top 10.

~Ah, I was right SICKO MODE ain't lasting much longer. See this is only for relevancy. Again, only reasons why Despacito, Lucid Dreams, In My Feelings, and God's Plan flopped on this list, because of relevancy.

~I mean this week was fun in numbers.

~Okay I dunno what types of sugar and trees Hits 1 and these voters are on, but they need to chill out, really This Feeling #1 again, c'mon.

New Entrants
~First is Talk by Khalid and Disclosure. The starting is not the best, bit when Khalid's vocals hit it sounds nice and the very well done 8-bitty trap production fits with his voice. The verses are well done and when he holds those notes out they are very nice.

~Next will be Familia. To be honest, I thought the song had no chance of getting on, but let's give it a try, and here it is. The build-up to Anuel's verse is smooth and nice. The chorus too is nice with the I suppose tropical vibes and more reggaeton vibes too. Nicki's verse is good for the majority of the time. This song is nice overall.

~Next up is Con Calma. I've heard this song a lot, and it's not that bad. It's very upbeat and Daddy Yankee keeps the production and song alive and at a faster tempo. Snow's is good for most of his time on the track. Very done song from both artists.

~Finally, we have Bones. Galantis' production is nice. I love OneRepublic and their music and this is very good too. This gives me Imagine Dragons vibes and reminds me of their song I Lived. Gets into that same mindset and reminds you to have a good time at least by your body language and the lyrics to both songs. Great job to both artists.

Biggest DROP- Benny Blanco/Calvin Harris- I Found You (-20)

New Entrants
~First we'll start off with Who Do You Love. I'm surprised this is the lowest debut, but I'm already calling biggest jump next week. In summary, the song, vocals, and that amazing production make it super awesome and amazing. So short & sweet for the 3rd time.

~Next will be SICKO MODE which is bound to flop because it's rap and this is the closest Hits 1 has gotten to rap in some time. This will flop so the only reason it's on here is for Hits 1 relevance so they aren't considered irrelevant. That's the only reason why God's Plan and In My Feeling were on here, for their relevance. Anyways, the song is nice, vocals are blah, but I don't mind yeah. Good overall.

~Next is Sue Me. I'll do a summary here, too. The song is appealing on first listen, but as you listen to it more it gets boring and is pretty forgettable. Sure Sabrina's vocals are nice, but the production bores the hell out of you, but I can see why people can like it.

~Next is Dancing With A Stranger. You know me as an upbeat, hype, fast-paced kind of guy so the only reason its blue is because I personally don't like it. If were sped up and more elements were added so it's the same old production when you listen it'd be great. The production makes it blue, but this could go green.

~Next is Wait For You. Jake's vocals are decent, but the production kills everything. The lyrics are way too simple to the point that a middle school kid whose "girlfriend" left for summer vacation would write this, I mean c'mon you could've put more time into that writing. However, the god-awful production doe not sound good with and w/o his voice. That kills everything.

~Finally is 7 Rings. Summary since this is 3rd time explaining song. Voice is good throughout most of the song. Like the production. Flex anthem that shows you how to waste money on your friends to the point where kindergarteners could do the same thing with Ringpops, but she Ariana so she can get away with that.

Wait For Blurbs

Heh Heh, you don't get the jo-, ok, I'll stop

~It's nice to see that Sexual Vibe and Tell Me Its Over shot high this week.

~On the flipside, I Found You, broken, and Machine took drops closing in on Bottom 5 this is probably the last of then although the former needed a little bit more time on here, while the the latter and following one are kind of overdue on this list considering the third is and probably will never be a hit.

~This Feeling is #1 again and I'm not thrilled, but props to slowing Without Me's momentum, but to be honest we need to whole Top 10 (besides #9) to be done with their time up there and let others take the spaces.

~Quick splurges from Hey Look Ma, I Made It, one which I hope won't last too long, Chlorine, which has no need to be on here, and Limitless which hopefully leaves next week.

~Don't Leave Me Alone's drop is overdue considering it's not even a hit.

~As far as exits go, I thought Trust My Lonely and breathin' had more left in them, Say Amen, In My Blood, and Back To You had lengthy runs and superb peaks too. However, Ocean To Ocean was useless considering only lasting two weeks, therefore just killing one song's time on this list like Electricity or Woman Like Me.

HitBound

  • Lil Peep/iLoveMakonnen/Fall Out Boy- I've Been Waiting
  • LSD/Lil' Wayne- Genius (Remix) (DEBUT)
  • Rita Ora- Let You Love Me
  • Imagine Dragons- Bad Liar
  • Gestaffelstien/The Weeknd- Lost In The Fire
  • Panic! At The Disco- Dancing's Not A Crime
  • Madison Beer/Offset- Hurts Like Hell (DEBUT)
  • Post Malone- Wow.
  • Meghan Trainor- All The Ways (DEBUT)
  • Lauv/Troye Sivan- I'm So Tired
  • Kelsea Ballerini- Miss Me More
  • Maren Morris- GIRL (DEBUT)
  • Kelsey Karter- Harry (DEBUT)
  • lovelytheband- maybe, i'm afraid
  • grandson- Apologize
~We'll start off with Genius (Remix). It's amazing how they put Lil' Wayne on the track because it's way better than the original one. Also, they're anti-rap too sooooo. Anyways,  Lil' Wayne's verse is great and the rest song is great too. Go see My Top 40 Week of 2/2/19 for a more thorough review.

~Next is Hurts Like Hell. Now if you've been viewing My Top 20/40 for some time before the extension, you saw this song on my list. It was great at first but got less appealing with each play, to the point where now it's kind of blah and majority of these HitBound this week are. Anyways, Madison's vocals are good and so is the production, but it's not an appealing song.

~Next is All The Ways. This song is not bad, but again not appealing. Meghan's decent vocals mixed with the boring production makes it blah. I can't really explain anymore except that the lyrics are underwritten and needed more thought, it's just a simple, boring, love song.

~Next we have Maren Morris with GIRL. This song is basically the same as All The Ways. The decent vocals from Maren mixed the even more blah and boring mixtape makes me not like it more. Also, I'm a little bit biased on the fact that all country music is terrible and will never be good, so that's throwing it done more.

~Finally we have Harry. This song is like Apologize, but it's more organized. The grating vocals the crappy production, and the stupid underwritten lyrics make a bad song. This song shouldn't come near to debut.

Biggest Jump- Imagine Dragons- Bad Liar (+21)
Biggest DROP- Avicii/Rita Ora- Lonely Together (Acoustic) [-13]

Newcomers
~First will be Low Key. Now, this is from ex-Fifth Harmony member, Ally Brooke. Now, this isn't too bad so I'm chill with it. The production is nice, but it does get boring so likely won't be on here long. Also, Tyga is not that bad on here too.

~Next is Let You Love Me. This is now strangely getting popular though it came in early 2018. Anyways, it's on Hits 1's HitBound so here's a recap. I like the chorus, but I do feel like the verses are too rushed as in writing, however, the production is very nice and consistent.

~Next is I've Been Waiting. Now, this is also on Hits 1's HitBound. So here's another recap. The song is very well produced. Lil Peep is not that bad. Makonnen sounds generic, but I enjoy his voice. Fall Out Boy lifts the song and that transition from Makonnen to them is very smooth and this is a bop.

~Another HitBound one. This is The Chainsmokers and 5SOS's Who Do You Love. The production is spot-on throughout the song and 5SOS's vocals are not bad and I quite enjoy this song. This song is so far aiming for #1.

~Finally we got Ariana Grande's break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored. This song is the best off her album thank u, next. The trap production is nice and the chorus is nice too. The song is very upbeat and energetic which you know at this point is my type of music.

Possibilities

  • XXXTentacion- BAD!
  • Ariana Grande- breathin'
  • Kehlani/Ty Dolla $ign- Nights Like This
  • Alan Walker/Sorana- Lost Control

  • Galantis/OneRepublic- Bones (DEBUT)
  • Khalid/Disclosure- Talk (DEBUT)
  • Daddy Yankee/Snow- Con Calma (DEBUT)
~Body Talks by The Struts and Kesha has been kicked off possibilities.

Biggest DROP- Imagine Dragons- Machine & Natural, Fall Out Boy- The Last Of The Real Ones (-6)

#1 Song This Week, One Year Ago- Charlie Puth- How Long (1st/2 weeks at #1)

New Entrants
~First is out best entrant this week, Sexual Vibe. This is from Charlie Puth's brother, Stephen. He has a low voice when he sings unlike he has a higher pitched voice when he sings. Anyways, the productions straight-away is relaxing and tropical. His voice sounds very sexual (no homo) but, it fits with the smooth production it gets better towards the end of the song, and then last 30 seconds is just great. Success levels are low unless it becomes a hit.

~Next is Tell Me Its Over. Arvil Lavinge is on a comeback I guess. I feel like she could've done better. Head Above Water wasn't that best I when I hear that I say "She's trying to make a comeback?", Because again that song isn't perfect either. However, I'm Hits 1 didn't pick up on that one instead of this one. However, her voice is nice, the production is too generic and gets boring after some listens so I'm not surprised if you see this turn blue.

Tell Me Its Blurbs
~This week was very quiet.

~Limitless shouldn't be rebounding because it's not even a hit, same goes for Ocean To Ocean so I Can easily see be gone next week considering it's not a hit.

~I'm surprised that Tequila and Happier going big again, however, both need to leave the Top 15 soon.

~Not a good week for bands as the biggest drop goes to both Imagine Dragons and the one Fall Out  Boy.

~On the flipside congrats to Dean Lewis with that huge jump, and to be honest I easily saw that coming from miles away.

~It's probably bad that I forgot broken, Back To You, and Don't Leave Me Alone were even on this list.

~As far as exits go, Expectations had a pretty good run though I thought it had more in it. However, Body Talks, dang, from #21. This song had much more left, but as I look at it, it shouldn't have peaked Top 10 as it wasn't really a hit so I guess that was a very random favorite on Hits 1. Also, both songs were getting boring so yeah.

HitBound

  • The Chainsmokers/5 Seconds Of Summer- Who Do You Love (DEBUT)
  • Lil Peep/ILove Makkonen/Fall Out Boy- I've Been Waiting (DEBUT)
  • Ariana Grande- 7 Rings
  • Rita Ora- Let You Love Me
  • Imagine Dragons- Bad Liar
  • Panic! At The Disco- Dancing's Not A Crime
  • The Weeknd/Gestaffelstien- Lost In The Fire
  • Travis Scott- SICKO MODE
  • Post Malone- Wow.
  • Sam Smith/Normani- Dancing With A Stranger

  • grandson- Apologize (DEBUT)
  • Kelsea Ballerini- Miss Me More
  • lovelytheband- Maybe, I'm Afraid
  • Jake Miller- Wait For You
~I just realized Killer Queen by 5SOS has been kicked off making it the first HitBound dropout of 2019.

New Trainees
~First will be Apologize. This song is an absolute mess. The only thing is why it stays in blue is the production in the chorus. Other than that the vocals, lyrics, and the production are all rushed and messed up.

~Anyways, next is I've Been Waiting. Makkonen is very generic when it comes to his voice and to be honest I thought he was a producer instead of the rapper because to me he sounds Lil Peep. However, FOB does great on the track, especially the transitions are just smooth and right.

~Finally is Who Do You Love. This song is amazing. Spot-on production from The Chainsmokers and 5SOS's voices make it perfect. The beat drops and clean and smooth and actual EDM which recently The Chainsmokers have been failing at that. This is really great.

New Entrants
~First will be Bad Liar. I figured this would be the lowest debut this week. The vocals are nice, but the chorus is why it's on here. The production is great. However, this is probably a one-weeker.

~Next is Don't Call Me Up. Mabel sounds good, especially with that pre-chorus. However, the chorus messes up the vibe going from a nice pre-chorus to a very good, but not amazing chorus. The production though is good.

~Next is Lie To Me. This song is probably 5SOS's and Julia Michaels best song until the former released another single is better just because of the production. For some reason, Julia's voice doesn't fit, but it does for some reason. 5SOS definitely made a step up from Youngblood which isn't the best.

~Finally we have Lil' Wayne's remix of LSD's Genius. Wayne's verse is awesome, and makes the song very upbeat and gives it that tempo. This is far better than the original and the smooth transition to the pre-chorus it's so smooth it's satisfying. The chorus and everything after that and the Lil' Wayne's voice in the background makes it better too.
