New Entrants
~First off will be In Betweenin'. I'm genuinely surprised it debuted this quick, even before other songs on HitBound like bury a friend. Anyways, onto the song. Let's talk about his voice. Yes I know he sounds like a kid, which was the let-down to Let Me Down Slowly for most of us. Like said when that song debuted, I can withstand both voices and not throw a temper-tantrum unlike some other bloggers did. Now, onto the rest of it. Yeah sure, the lyrical content might not be the best and pretty generic, but I tend not to care about it (discounting Wait For You). The production is good and keeps its pace with his voice which is great too. So yeah, it's a really good song overall.

~Next is Walk Me Home. For some time P!nk has been under the radar lately, ignoring her part on The Greatest Showman: Reimagined Soundtrack. Other than that, her last appearance was I believe Beautiful Trauma on this list. I like this song better. Her voice sounds better, and the production is good. I feel like this is a low-key good song, and honestly, I'm not surprised if it flops because it did everywhere else.

Best Debut Of The Week: Austin Brown- In Betweenin'

Blurb Me Home
~Let's start off with Hits 1 and their Bottom 5. Because holy crap they're right on time for once! Love Lies, The Way I Am, I'm A Mess, and Natural are kinda overdue and need to go. As for Girls Like You, it probably could rebound, but staying there is fi e considering it's dying elsewhere.

~The debuts didn't move much. Harry, Genius, 11 Minutes, and Hurts Like Hell either dropped or held its spot. However, GIRL and All The Ways, the ones in the lower half of debuts I favor in moved up. I mean GIRL I understand because it's getting somewhere, but All The Ways, really?

~Shallow took a huge jump tying Dancing With A Stranger for the biggest jump of the year so far, but it's kind of overdue so it probably won't last unless the voters can keep up there.

~Bad Liar, High Hopes, and Who Do You Love took unexpected jumps. The last two were always vulnerable to take big jumps, but the former? Wow, props to the voters and Hits 1 to pushing it up there.

~When it comes to drops, Let Me Down Slowly is probably done which is about good timing considering it likely made year-end. Happier and This Feeling fell out of the Top 10 and they both locked year-end so it's fine if they leave.

~365 took a sudden rebound, but that won't last long considering the flop it took on Billboard.

~And FINALLY 2002 took the biggest drop. However, that's not good enough considering it didn't even drop out of the Top 30.

~As far as exits go, Sue Me was an absolute flop because Sabrina Carpenter so it was just a filler on here. Next was Don't Go Breaking My Heart. Honestly, this song was an absolute ass. The vocals, production, and I guess I'll bring in lyrical content all were bad. It was really trash and was WAY overdue considering it flopped back in FREAKING AUGUST (discounting that The Middle was overdue longer.)

New Trainees
~First can be Thinkin Bout You. Like P!nk, Ciara has been under the radar lately. Her new song is pretty decent. I like her voice, but not much of the production. I like this song, but not really would like to listen to this as much as the songs in green. More about this IF it debuts.

~Finally is Juice. So I've heard this a couple of times, and I didn't like it. I don't like her voice, it sounds scratchy. The production that may buy me into liking this. The soul-ish, hip-hop/R&B whatever production this is considered, is not all that bad. I just think her voice ruins the song.

New Entrants
~First we have Dancing With A Stranger. Now this song is good for the most part. I like the vocals and the lyrical content, but that production bores it for me. I sat there for 2 minutes and then realized it was over, it's so soft and quiet.

~Next is Are You Lonely. Now, this came out in February, but I didn't pick it up until now. I like the production, but the vocals are kind of eh. The content is good but can be better. Also, on the album Different World, there was this track, but with Omar Noír.

~Finally, we have On My Way. Now hear me Sabrina sounds good here. Her voice is able to fit with Alan's production. It gives some cultural vibes from like an Indian-African sort of thing, I dunno, it's weird. Anyways, Sabrina is great, Alan is too. Also, Farruko, he pretty good, but I feel like his voice doesn't fit in with the production. Nevertheless, he's still good.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago- Zedd/Maren Morris/Grey- The Middle (3rd/9 weeks)

New Entrants
~First will be Harry. Ok so now this is just a bad to garbage song. I do like the verses, but that chorus and production really messes it up. It sounds like a pop-reject song from 2012. The screeching at the chorus ruins the whole thing. And to be honest, I don't Harry Styles would appreciate it. However, I'll say it's better than Tequila and Don't Go Breaking My Heart.

~Next is Hurts Like Hell. Now at first, this song was blue. However, the only redeeming thing is the production. I like the production in general though it very general type of production, it's fine with. Though Madison Beer doesn't show how vocally talented she is I can deal with it. Considering that they took Offset out of it, it can do better, but not as much as in chart placement.

~Next up is Genius. To start off, the only thing I like for the most part is Lil' Wayne which I'm surprised they put on the track. Like said, Wayne sounds good and so does Sia and Labrinth. However, Diplo's production can be better as I've seen do way better like on Powerful. Yes, I know he didn't fully produce it but, the production is a hell of a lot better on that track than this one.

~So now we have GIRL. So after some more listens it's a tiny bit better, but not a whole. I mean I like how Maren shows off her vocal range. However, the lyrical content and production are just bland and generic so it's not the best, but I'm chill with it.

~Ok so now is All The Ways. This song is really bad. I don't get what this is. I've liked Trainor before, but this kills everything. The lyrical content is stupid and generic, the production isn't focused on that much and is really bad. When it comes to her voice, she sticks on one tone and stays there, ignoring the fact that she has a voice. The motive of the song is pointless if it's a generic song.

~Finally is 11 Minutes. Of course, this is the highest debut, why? Because, Halsey. Therefore, this should do well. Anyways, on to the song, and to be honest Halsey's part is not all that bad. The production Barker gives is actually pretty nice and an uplifting beat that keeps the song going. YUNGBLUD is just here on the track so he might be the downfall to the song.

~Upon Shallow re-entering. I know that it's grown on me but doesn't mean it can back to blue or even red. Honestly, I don't how long it'll last week. However, with the radio having a second wind this could do better than the last run.

Best Debut Of The Week- Madison Beer/Offset- Hurts Like Hell

Worst Debut Of The Week- Kelsy Karter- Harry (not for long)

11 Blurbs
~At this point, songs like apologize and Wait For You are growing on me. The former may go green very soon and the latter, likely a blue.

~As I predicted Bad Liar isn't holding up but could take a jump next week.

~That jump from Be Alright was definitely unexpected. I honestly think it wouldn't get that far.

~Now the voters realize it's time to get rid of This Feeling and High Hopes.

~Miss Me More and i'm so tired are trying to get pushed hard, with the former, in which I know, will NOT hold up.

~In terms of drops, I don't know Sue Me is over and Love Lies is down n Bottom 5, but will likely take it's good ol' time down there.

~Speaking of Bottom 5 The Way I Am is still here, somehow.

~7 Rings plummets out of the Top 10 sort of like thank u, next a month back and breathin' before that too and maybe even God Is A Woman.

~I now conclude that every Ariana Grande song on this list is set up for a big chance whether it's Top 5 or #1, it'll get screwed last minute.

~Sucker could very well tie Hello for the biggest rise of to #1 ever tying for 3 weeks. However, Hey Look Ma, I Made It seems very stiff right now.

~I'm adding one more blurb just in case you guys don't consider #9 one. DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART IS LEAVING NEXT WEEK.

~As far as exits, go, Sexual Vibe and Tell Me Its Over deserved to be on here though I'm satisfied with both peaks. Grip and You Say shouldn't have gotten that far up the list so I guess it's a good thing they're gone. Limitless was just pointless as it only peaked at #40. Shotgun had a very nice hitting #12 and chilling out on the list. We all can agree that at one point that was a low-key great song. Finally is broken, had a nice run, peak, and length to the point where it probably has taken a spot on the year-end list.

New Trainees
~First will be Here With Me. Now, this is a very mellow song, which is not really good for me as a generalization of my music taste, but I like the beat drop though it may be very generic. When it comes to CHVRCHES they did a lot too and deserve it because you hear the vocals.

~Finally is So Am I. Instead of talking about it again I'll copy and paste. Now, this may be Sweet But Psycho 2.0, but I like this one better. This gets ever more stuck in your head, and the production is hella good. Though it may be looped throughout the song it's really good. Again, you can argue it's a bland song, but it's really good.

New Entrants
~First will be Out At Night. Now for me, the starting is very weird, but as the song progresses, so does my view on it. Though it may feature rappers Clean Bandit can work with them and make them sound good. However, I don't know how far this'll get.

~Next we'll cover both versions of Bitch Lasagna. Unless you live under a rock you know who Pewdiepie. Hell, you probably know of this song. To be honest, this is one of the best rap songs ever. The lyrical content is great, the vocals aren't bad, and the production is great. The one with Dylan Locke featured is great, and more of a dance theme to it too.

~Finally, we have So Am I. Now this may be Sweet But Psycho 2.0, but I like this one better. This gets ever more stuck in your head, and the production is hella good. Though it may be looped throughout the song it's really good. Again, you can argue it's a bland song, but it's really good.

Possibilities
  • Why Don't We- Big Plans
  • Alec Benjamin- Let Me Down Slowly
  • Imagine Dragons- Bad Liar
  • Dua Lipa- Swan Song
  • Mabel- Don't Call Me Up
  • Rita Ora- Let You Love Me
  • Ally Brooke/Tyga- Low Key

  • Sam Smith/Normani- Dancing With A Stranger (DEBUT)
  • Why Don't We- Trust Fund Baby (Re-entry)

Hits 1 Weekend Countdown, Week Of March 16, 2019 Panic! At The Disco (2)

Biggest DROP- SeeB/BΔSTILLE- Grip AND Cardi B/Bruno Mars- Please Me (-15)

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago: Hailee Steinfeld/Alesso/Florida Georgia Line/watt- Let Me Go (1st/1 week)

New Entrants
~Breaking the new record of highest debut ever since Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe AND Taylor Swift's Look What You Made Me Do which both debuted at #13. Anyways, the vocals are great and clear and backed up by the production. The whistling is a concern to my fellow bloggers, but I think it keeps that rhythm and the vibe of song alive and randomly killing it. Now, this could shrink fast on me as other songs move in, but yeah, it's a nice song overall.

Best Entrant Of The Week: Pretty Self-Explanatory

I'm a Sucker for Blurbs
~Thank goodness that Grip is finally on the verge of getting bounced off next week.

~To be honest here, I think Sucker will murder 7 Rings momentum if it's able to rise to #1 next week.

~Also, when that happens it will ruin Without Me's and Happier's momentum too. However, it will ultimately screw up Let Me Down Slowly's and Sweet But Psycho's momentum as well.

~Seems like Who Do You Love and Bad Liar are trying push through everything in their way, However, I think the latter won't be able to withstand any of this soon.

~At this point Tell Me Its Over, Please Me, 365, and Chlorine probably aren't doing so hot anymore with noticeable drops after hitting peaks.

~I advise getting rid of High Hopes soon before it clenches year-end again.

~As far as exits go, SICKO MODE for relevancy and there's where I'll end it at.

New Trainees
~We'll start off with So Close.  Not to feel special but, I did recommend this song like probably the last week of 2018. Anyways, I like the production from all here and though Georgia vocals may sound pretty weird and annoying to some I can tolerate it for the time being. However, at this point, I have a feeling it might make the countdown.

~Next is Undrunk. So this song is bland to me. I don't find this song appealing, but it's blue because like I can tell what she can do vocally and stuff, but I don't find this appealing. This could go red unless it hits me to make it become better.

~Finally, we have break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored. I honestly thought this wouldn't be put on the radio, but here we are. As of right now, I wish another should've been released first (bloodline), but this one is good too. I like the vocals she gives and the trappy production she tries to give off too is nice. Honestly, I couldn't give two on a lyrical stand-note, because the last single's content is atrocious to this one.

Newcomers
~First we have Here With Me. It's a nice mellow song with pretty good production. The vocals and content are very nice and well-displayed. One of Marshmello's best yet.

~Next is Shotgun done with a remix by KVR. Everything is nice just the remix makes more chill and mellow. Good remix overall.

~Next we have In Betweenin'. Again, I give two about how he sounds because he's good. The production is nice and the lyrical content is great as well and his voice wraps it up.

~Finally we have Love Me. I can explain, it's only because of that tik tok trend and now it's stuck in my head. I'm NOT a tik-tokker I only in it for the cringe. Anyways, it's a nice jam overall.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago- Zedd/Maren Morris/Grey- The Middle (2nd/9 weeks)

New Entrants
~First will be i'm so tired. The only thing that clicks with me is the okay production and the catchy chorus because I've had that stuck in my head. I mean it's a song with Lauv and Troye Sivan what are you going to get out of it? Anyways, I could care less for the song it's okay, but can easily hit red, but green is super slim.

~Next is Wow. So this song is okay too. Post is okay, but the weird production and the weird lyrics make the song weird. That chorus gets stuck in your head and that makes the song click, but not fully. This is a step down from Better Now, which is ultimately Post's best song in my opinion. Again, I could care less on where this could be going because it could be pushed, but not too far.

~Finally, we have apologize. Now this song is a mess. The production is messy, the vocals are grating to a degree, and I don't like the feel you get off the song. It's just some rip-off rock band that tries to go big. To be honest, I don't find this appealing at all, but it could go blue considering that I've only heard it a couple of times. However, I do think this'll flop.

Best entrant of the week: Post Malone- Wow.
Worst entrant of the week: grandson- apologize

Got Me Saying "Blurb."
~In terms of drops. I'm surprised of the dip of thank u, next because those votes are falling and falling. Again, we blame this on 7 Rings.

~Anne-Marie hasn't had it well, 2002 is falling which is good because geez that song is overdue.

~Sexual Vibe needs to stay, I don't understand why it's flopping, You Say rebounded can Sexual Vibe do the same, please.

~Girls Like You, Don't Go Breaking My Heart and broken aren't gone yet which surprises me, though I think the former will stick around for some more time.

~Jumps are okay Tequila and Happier shouldn't be coming back. Chlorine, Who Do You Love, I've Been Waiting, Please Me, Bad Liar, and Be Alright are fine and swell.

~When it comes to Top 10, I'm surprised songs rebounded. However, Sweet But Psycho surprisingly fell below Let Me Down Slowly which is surprising. I'm guessing it's really the voters keeping this up.

~As far as exits, Don't Leave Me Alone was overdue when it debuted and was just here though it got somewhere. Nothing Breaks Like A Heart was an ABSOLUTE flop everywhere so it makes sense it did on here, but I thought it had more fight overall. Finally, The Last Of The Real Ones. The song got very far, but ultimately it got on my nerves sometime, so I'm sort of happy it's gone.

New Trainees
~First will be Dumb Blonde. This song I like better than Tell Me Its Over. The production keeps the song up and running and the song really brings back that 2000's pop style music. Avril is great and Nicki is too, but that production saves it.

~Next is Last Hurrah. Compared to I'm A Mess, it's at the same level for me at least. The vocals are about the same, but the lyrical content here is better than the prior, but the prior has better production than in here. Therefore, it's at a standstill, but a great song nevertheless.

~Next is bury a friend. Now, I like Billie as a person and she is, but god she bores the hell out of me with her music. She sounds lifeless (which is her aim), but geez can you not ruin well-produced music with your boring voice? Anyways, when I first heard it, I hated it. Now it's stuck in my head because I realize the pre-chorus and the production are pretty good overall. Other than this, the songs that surpass this is idontwanttobeyouanymore and possibly Ocean Eyes.

~Finally, we have Two Of Us. This song is decent at first listen. The production bores the song for me, and that is really why it's blue. It just doesn't click, though everything else is great.

New Entrants
~First we have Please Me. Again, it would've been better if Cardi B wasn't a tad bit on the decent-good side. I do like the chorus displayed by Bruno and the production is nice too.

~Next we have bloodline. This song is pretty solid to the point where it's the best one off the album, but to outpeak break up with girlfriend, i'm bored, it's gonna have to get somewhere. That aside, I like her voice and the chorus along with the production give it that energy feel.

~Next we have Mama. Over the weeks, this was just floating in my mind. Then the music video popped up on a youtube ad and I like was like damn should've added it sooner. I like the production from Bandit and the lyrics from Ellie are smooth and nice. This is better than Baby, but again like bloodline, it needs to stick and click even more with me to outpeak their own songs.

~Finally, we have Sucker. This has been everywhere and I have a slight feeling this could hit #1 on Billboard next week. Anyways, I like the quick start and the pre-chorus by Joe and Nick is good. Kevin keeps the production going (at least that's what I think he does), and gives it a more chill vibe. Really great song for a comeback.

Hits 1 Weekend Countdown, Week of March 2, 2019 The Chainsmokers, Kelsea Ballerini (7)

Well, the only thing I'll say is that Hits 1 and their voters are being little female dogs right now. Anyways, I'm seeing more pageviews on my rankdown, so that's good, hopefully, anyways we got 1 month left, but seeing those pageviews I'm having higher hopes of people doing the rankdown. Biggest Jump- Sam Smith/Normani- Dancing With A Stranger (+21)
Biggest DROP- 5 Seconds Of Summer- Youngblood (-16)

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago- Zedd/Maren Morris/Grey- The Middle (1/9 weeks) [So it began the 9 weeks of living hell that would follow leaving misery upon all to this day...damn you Hits 1 and you voters who kept it on here for 50 weeks...]

New Entrants
~Our best entrant is I've Been Waiting. Since I had now explained this for the third time here is a summary. Lil Peep is great and is not all that bad, Makonnen sounds generic, but it clicks with me, and Fall Out Boy is amazing and the production is good too.

~Next we have Bad Liar. This song sort of reminds me of Demons, a song who has mixed reviews on my end. The start of it sounds like a boring, sad, rock song. However, when the chorus hits, it's amazing. The vocals from Dan fit the production and the melodies too are great.

Blurbs Been Waiting
~When you know Hits 1 is somewhat based on voters is #4. Let Me Down Slowly makes a big jump to #4 and that's surprising.

~However, voters give us a let down when they let damn This Feeling stick for a 7th week at #1. This better not be #1 for year-end 2019 already.

~Seems like here that they're pushing Tell Me It's Over and Dancing With A  whom both have taken new peaks close to Top 10.

~Surprising but not surprising drops from Youngblood, Natural, and The Last Of The Real Ones. All are old so what can I say.

~Sexual Vibe has no need to drop it's better than the other Puth song on here.

~Good thing Close To Me and Sweet But Psycho are nearing top spot hopefully blocking THis Feeling, Without Me, and Hey Look Ma, I Made It.

~As far as exits go, both were not destined to last. Ruin My Life I thought would shoot higher being the better out of the two. As for 1999, it was a flop, well, you can say both were flops, so yeah. I mean it's a good thing they were on for more than 3 weeks.

New Trainees
~Well, I forgot 'bout last week and by that I Mean 11 Minutes. Everything is good, but it's pretty forgettable and it just doesn't click fully.

~Anyways, let's start off with Sucker. Everything is great. I like the start off with Nick then Joe's pre-chorus hits the spot and then the chorus is really catchy and so is the production. This is a song that gets stuck in your head.

~Next is In Betweenin'. I first heard it and didn't like it that much. After listening to it again I like. Yeah, yeah, I know he reminds you of Alec Benjamin and you'll say "he sounds like a kid". However, I'll say, I don't care. His voice is acceptable and I can handle it. The production really helps too. I really hope this debuts.

~Next is Think About You. LI\ike In Betweenin', at first I didn't like it. Now I do, but not to a great amount. I like everything, but the voice doesn't click with me fully, and that's the only problem. Otherwise, it's a great song.

~Next is Walk Me Home. This is good right now. I've only listened to it once so I can't say all that much. I feel like the verses were underlooked and the chorus could've been more energetic. Anyways, it's a good song, but P!nk has done better.

~Finally, we have Low Key. It's not in green because of Tyga. To be honest, Tyga helping the song with its rhythm and his voice and tempo fit well with the song. Ally's is good, but not the best, and if someone else more talented than her put in that production, would've been better.

~One more thing we lost two great HitBound songs. First was Lost In The Fire. This one was good but seems to be failing everywhere, so this was its final stand. Next, we have Let You Love Me. The song should've been on here longer as it only lasted like a month or something. What also didn't help is that it was released some time ago, but now gets popular, but it couldn't withstand all the other songs, so it didn't make it. Both songs deserved to debut, but they flopped horribly everywhere, so these are song #2 and #3 to drop out of HitBound of 2019.
