My Mid-Year Top 50 Songs

Hello and welcome to a pretty self-explanatory post. As I mentioned, this last Saturday marked the midpoint of the charting year for most charts. Therefore, I've decided to do my normal calculations and show you My Top 50 thus far. Remember, there is also half a year still left, so these spots will surely change one way or another. Anyways, let's begin. I will probably put the artist, name, points, peak, weeks, their year-end 2019 spot if they had on, and maybe a comment or two if I'm feeling it. Also, * will signify that this song is currently on the June 27, 2020, edition of my chart. If you're wondering how many songs had spent at least a week on my chart? Exactly 120, pretty good especially we were nearing 160 this time last year.

Remember him? Yeah, this song is his best hands down. I mean, I'm surprised that it actually stock to be the first 20-weeker on this list. In addition, it's practically 3000 points ahead of last year's total so good job man.

Yeah, this song is really great. Being technically the only Heartbreak Weather song to stick around thus besides the releases of Nice to meet ya and No Judgement, it's done well. I can see making Top 3. Speaking of an almost 8000 point gap...

Yeah so this song, despite having one the best runs in terms of strength, hasn't gotten to #1. I don't see it happening in terms of making #1 for a specific year, but if it comes back and resurges for me, then it'll definitely songs like Better When You're Gone, All Falls Down, or Wake Me Up for one the greatest songs.

2. Niall Horan- Nice to meet ya*

Yeah, this is definitely going for the highest #2 peaking song. I mean this song hasn't gotten too annoying or old just yet, so it'll stay. It's slowly declining, but it could jump back who knows.

1. Kygo/Avicii/Sandro Cavazza- Forever Yours*

This song is going strong and I don't mind at all. I thought Avicii's album was the last thing we were gonna get by him, but Kygo somehow made such a glorious track. The production is good and very soft but manageable. The vocals from Sandro take it to another level and the songwriting is heavenly. Though it may seem like an empty song sometimes, it always manages to win me over. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if took #1 for the year!
