New Entrants
~First is So Close by a number of artists and producers. This song is really good. For this to be a predecessor for I Wanna Know from NOTD's terms it's a huge step up. Also, this is the first time in a while I've heard from Felix Jaehn, maybe since Cheerleader back in 2013-14. Anyways, the vocals are great from both Captain Cuts and Georgia Ku. This is also a song with amazing production, this should be on Hits 1 definitely. Prediction is a peak of 6 and here for 7 weeks.

~Our next one is WAKA. To be honest, I have no idea how a 6ix9ine ended up on here, however, that's not why. This is mostly from Boogie, as his part is actually good. Also, the production is pretty good. Also, I don't see why it shouldn't say A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie ft. 6ix9ine, because Boogie is practically the whole song with 69 just being there randomly talking about guns. Prediction is a peak of 6, and here for 4.

Thoughts On Exits
We had two exits this pointing to an Alan Walker song, Spectre, therefore become the highest ranked dropout of 2018 will I will update on the 2018 My Top 20 stats overview. I dunno what happened it gets really attractive, however, it fades really quick. However, for Sweet But Psycho, I'm surprised it lasted for this long. That hypnosis of that song is gone, and it also gets blander after each listen, so yeah, it'll fade soon enough. Anyways, have a good new year and I hope you had a great 2018. because that Hits 1 post may not get out today.

Quick Update; I Need YOU

Hello friends, this is a brief update about what I'm deciding to for this blog, however, I need one simple thing from you. Anyways, you should obviously know My Top 20, unless you're new. However, starting 2019 My Top 20 will be no more. Why is because I'm aiming for expanding the list! You guys might be bored seeing the same songs so I want you to see a more variety of my tastes. You'll see more genres and stuff like that. Anyways, this is where you guys come in! I want to leave in the comments how far I should expand it! The max is 45 like Hits 1 and minimum is 30. So basically pick 30, 35, 40, or 45. Pending how many votes I get, I'll start for the first 2019 post of My Top 20. If, not then the second My Top 20 in '19. Finally, if no wants to vote then I'll choose for myself then, however, I recommend you vote because this is where You help ME for MY Top 20. Have a good new year guys! Also, there should be more posts as in My Top 20 and Hits 1 and MAYBE a year-end post. Also, I will be saying later giving my thanks an awesome month and a half, and how I grew to having almost 500 views in just 2 months!

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago-Perfect-Ed Sheeran (if Beyonce was in this version I shall not mention as she was worthless in that song and made it worse) (1st week out of 2 weeks)

New Entrants
~Well starting off these debuts we have Waste It On Me by what's seeming to be a terrible Steve Aoki and the overrated BTs whom shall I call K-POP thanks to Youtube Rewind 2018 (you fucked that up big time). Anyways, I think BTS should stick to Korean because I don't like the vocals, and I say the production is pretty bad here. The lyrics are fine, but them singing, I can't understand I only hear like 3/7 people from BTS in there. Prediction is a peak of maybe #28-#30 and on the charts for maybe at most 6 weeks.

~Next is Nothing Breaks Like A Heart by Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus. This song blah, I don't really care. Miley's vocals are decent the lyrics, however, are pretty good. Mark is okay in this production. However, we can all agree unless you're a HUGE Miley stan that this a decent step down from Uptown Funk. However, I do see this song taking the biggest jump of the week may be in a week or 2. Prediction is a peak of #9-#12 and here for a good 4 months.

~Next is James Arthur with Empty Space. This is a step down from Say You Won't Let Go, but I'm actually starting to like this song. I think the vocals are good and the lyrics are too. However, the only thing I don't like is that trap music, it just doesn't fit well with his more ballad type of voice. Prediction is a peak of #16 and here for like 5 months maybe even 6 (I can totally see this lasting for some time).

~Chlorine is a chemical that for some reason Twenty One Pilots decided to write about. This is just downright bad. The lyrics are weird and uncalled for and the song is LONG, I just can't listen to the whole song anymore. This is a step down from My Blood, even though that is bad too. I just feel like Tyler and Joseph just get more mediocre with every song they decide to make. Prediction is a peak of #17-#20 here for maybe 2 months.

~Finally, we have Close To Me by Ellie Goulding, Diplo, and Swae L-, oh wait they took him out, that is not very cash money of Hits 1 to do that. Anyways, if you see My Top 20 posts you know this whole thing. Ellie's great with her part especially with a comeback like that. Diplo is great with his production though it does start to fade on you. Finally, we have Swae's part which makes the song better. His vocals and the melodies he has, he's a rapper that CAN sing.
However, since Hits 1 is not cash money, they put Ellie's second verse in which is worse than Swae's part, a rapper's part which is not good, but amazing at the same time. I mean normally the songs are better without rappers, however, this song manages to be amazing with a rapper (just to remind you its 2018). Anyways, back to verse, it doesn't fit well with the rhythm and the ending of one the lines are rushed and just sound weird. Prediction is a peak of maybe #9-#12 and here for maybe half a year (6 months if you can't do the math).

Blurbs To Me
~Wow, In My Blood and Shotgun are still here, I mean I don't really care, it's just that they're spending some time there along with Beautiful.

~Haven't really said much about Back To You, Side Effects, The Way I Am, and Electricity, at this point there just here on the countdown.

~At this point the new Hits 1 trend is that debuts tend to shoot high after their debut week, I mean Expectations up 9, Moves up 13, and finally Sweet But Psycho up 15 which also takes the biggest jump of the week.

~Speaking of Expectations it seems Hits 1 is pushing most of all of the Fifth Harmony's members' songs. If you look at it Consequences moves up a small amount, Expectations nears that Top 20, and Love Lies strangely going up to #6, I thought Love Lies time here was done, guess not.

~Also seems like Hey Look Ma, I Made It actually made worthwhile of its biggest jump actually going up this week instead of dropping like it did before its other biggest jump a couple weeks ago.

~It also seems like Girls Like You likes to take big drops and then rebounds to just show that it's capable of doing unlike a song like My Blood taking a huge drop into the Bottom 5 likely due to Chlorine's debut, but I do think this is the end of the line for My Blood.

~I also think it is the end of the line for I Wanna Know as it finally drops Bottom 5.

~Speaking of dropping can Tequila start dropping and Don't Go Breaking My Heart keep going on this trend of a downward spiral its time is long gone. However, in order for Tequila to fall hard, then Speechless must debut which I say is better than Tequila and also that's just Hits 1 logic one person's song can't drop until another of their debuts as shown clearly by Twenty One Pilots this week.

~We also have some notable drops from I'm A Mess, breathin' after its short time in the Top 10 and Natural strangely, it seems like Hits 1 putting some twists and turns for this very predictable roller coaster ride.

~As far as exits go, good riddance to Promises and Delicate, both were absolute trash. On the flipside, Lost In Japan was a great song that fades fast and obviously flopped hard on here and everywhere in general. Whatever It Takes had a nice run here and I think it was its time to leave this county called Hits 1. Shallow was just here on the countdown after that decent drop about a month back. Really the only one I'll miss here is Lost In Japan even though I do like Whatever It Takes.

HitBound (This is put in order of favorite to least favorite therefore no need to do that Top 5/Bottom 5 HitBound thing)
Dean Lewis-Be Alright
Seeb ft. Bastille-Grip
Stephen Puth-Sexual Vibe (DEBUT)
Arvil Lavinge-Tell Me Its Over (DEBUT)
Zara Larsson-Ruin My Life
Alessia Cara-Trust My Lonely
benny blanco & Calvin Harris-I Found You (DEBUT)
Khalid-Better
Dan + Shay-Speechless
lovelytheband-Maybe, I'm Afraid (DEBUT)
Pitbull & Rhea-Ocean To Ocean (DEBUT)
Lauren Daigle-You Say
Imagine Dragons-Machine

New Trainees
I call new entrants on HitBound '"trainees" because they are like "practicing" to go on the "battlefield" known as Hits 1. Most will make it, but a select few may not make it.

~First I'll do a quick overview of Grip since I didn't cover it last week. Grip is a nice song the production is better than Happier, but the vocals from Dan are way better than the ones in Happier. I normally go more in-depth if it makes the countdown, though I can see this song making it.

~First up this week is Sexual Vibe by Charlie's brother, Steven. This song is great though he sounds a bit flat. The production is great and I can see this making the countdown soon.

~Next is Tell Me Its Over by Arvil Lavinge. This is another song she recently released which makes the predecessor of Head Above Water which I'm surprised Hits 1 didn't pick it up. Anyways, her vocals are great and so is the production, I hope this makes the countdown, though I do see it debuting soon.

~Next is I Found You by two great producers, benny blanco, and Calvin Harris. The vocals are kind of repetitive, but the production is pretty good. This technically the predecessor to Eastside, which is better than this song for sure. On Calvin's terms, this would somewhat be the predecessor to Promises which would be a huge step up from that piece of crap. I can see this debuting too.

~Maybe, I'm Afraid is by the "upcoming" band, lovelytheband. The song is pretty decent only because its super forgettable. The vocals do get annoying after some time, but the production is nice. This has a chance of debuting only because they found broken so good that they might throw this up here.

~Finally is Ocean To Ocean by Pitbull and Rhea. This song is a cover of Africa which Weezer totally fucked up. This song is not much better though. Speeding the music of Africa and making it sound like trap just ruins its originators, Toto. Rhea is decent and that's really why its red & blue. Also, I don't see why Pitbull is needed here at the moment. Since Hits 1 stans Africa and especially covers of it, this song may debut before any of the debuts this week on HitBound because its a cover of Africa, of course, Hits 1 gonna love it to death.

Also, I think from now on I won't do blurbs, but I will do something called Status Reports which is basically my standpoint on them and basically any stats that are noticeable. #1-Lily-Alan Walker, K-391, Emile Hollow (DEBUT; 1st Week at #1)

Newcomers
~First is Lost Control from Alan Walker's latest album which I may do a review on. I like Sorana's vocals. Though I say the music from other songs from his album are far better, it is really good. I dunno if this would stay up here for some time so, my predictions for this is a peak of like 11 and here for like 5 weeks.

~Next is Hurts Like Hell the next single from Madison Beer. Also, she somehow teams up with Offset who is actually good. I will say this is a big step up from Home With You. I like her voice better here and the music is nice. This collaboration was a weird one, however, it strangely works. Predictions are peak of 7 and here for a solid 7 weeks.

~Now is I Don't Wanna Go another song from Walker's album. Though the vocals from Julie can be a tad bit better, the music and beat that Alan produces really helps her vocals shine and the lyrics really mean something. Also strangely, I found a way that Look At Me! by XXXTentacion can fit perfectly with the song, but anyways, good song overall. Prediction, peak of 3 and here for 9 weeks.

~Now here is Let Me Down Slowly. Yes, I will get hate "oh he sounds like a fucking kid", and to be honest I don't care I like the lyrics and the music the vocals are fine I can tolerate them and, to be honest, he is pretty talented though his voice does not match looks or gender. I mean look at Charlie Puth, he can sing pretty high, however, his real voice is deep to all end, so yeah some people gonna sound like that. Predictions are a peak of 3 and here for 8 weeks.

~All Night is a fun rap song (my hate levels are going up for every song that debuts at this rate). I don't see why people hate this, I mean his lyrics make no damn sense, but that beat is nice, though at sometimes I do skip to next song. I like his voice and I can UNDERSTAND what he is saying too. Prediction is a peak of 2 and here for 4 weeks.

~Our second-to-last song is Moves. Olly Murs sounds great and Snoop Dogg actually helps the song a tiny bit otherwise, even without Snoop it's still good. The vocals and lyrics are great. The music, if you listen the what to me sounds like glass bottles being played its sounds like a more sped up version from that one part in Best Friend from Sofia Tukker, Alissa Ueno, NERVO, and The Knocks. Predictions are a peak of 1 (1-2 week[s]) and here for 11 weeks.

~Finally is another song from Alan's album, Lily. To be honest, the only reason its where it is is because I heard Moves too late for it to hit #1 this week. This song is fading a little bit faster than the others, but anyways I like Walker's production, and though Emelie sounds like a kid too, the lyrics and vocals are pretty good overall. Prediction is a peak of 1 (1-2 week[s]) and here for at most 10 weeks.

Possibilities

My Top 20 Stats Year-End

Hello to my second year-end post! So as you hopefully know, I have a Top 20 where I rank my Top 20 best songs every weekend. Obviously, since I chart these songs there must be stats. I will do some basic stats here, and on another post, I'll do my top songs based off the chart statistically. However, that doesn't mean they're the top songs of 2018 in my opinion, that's another post I'll have to get to. Anyways I'll stop talking and give the overall stats.

So for a couple of these stats, they'll be title holders which means they held that title to a certain and it was taken away. Also, pending when this gets out I'm sort of "leaking" some info about the next Top 20 when this was published, but I don't know.

Hits 1 Weekend Countdown, Week of December 15, 2018 The Chainsmokers, Kelsea Ballerini (1)

How do I start? My Top 20 seems to be failing. Should I stop? Should I keep going? To be honest I don't know. If you don't like it then tell me why. Is it because I'm a stan to Alan Walker? I'm pretty sure some of you are tired of him. Seriously though, please tell me if I should continue, I don't want to make something that no one will look at.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago- Camila Cabello ft. Young Thug- Havana (1st week out of 1)

New Entrants

~First is Moves. This song is really good as I never heard a song from Olly for a while. His vocals are great, and I think his voice has changed a little beat. I like the music and lyrics so it's great. Prediction: Peak: #20-#23 Weeks: 7

~Next is Expectations. To me, it's slow and boring. However, I do like her voice here, but the vocals get repetitive after some time. I think Hits 1 will make it soar considering they pushed Camila and Normani so hard up the list. Prediction: Peak: Solid #14 Weeks: 14

~Finally is the hypnotizing Sweet But Psycho. I call it "hypnotizing" because you hate it at first, but then it puts you in a trance so you now love it. Anyways, you know it made My Top 20, so quick summary. The music is catchy, her vocals are great, and the lyrics are pretty true in some respects. Also, it was a quick debut so it might do well here. Prediction: Peak: #8-#5 Weeks: 19

Blurbs But Psycho

~Still surprised that In My Blood, Beautiful, and Shotgun are still here.

~Looks like we haven't seen the last of Hey Look Ma, I Made It as it took another big jump back in the Top 20.

~Hopefully we've seen the end of Delicate and Promises.

~Seems like Ariana is inching and inching closer to that #1 spot as breathin' out peaked God Is A Woman and thank u, next doesn't show signs of slowing down.

~I like how Hits 1 likes to recognize little-known artists for some time. I know that Big Mistake dropped out, but now it seems like that Let Me Down Slowly is its predecessor, I mean it out peaked so yeah.

~Can Nervous and Tequila please leave the Top 43?

~Let me join the rant and ask, how is I Wanna Know still on here?

~Listening to #s 15-9 was a decent experience overall.

~The exits were pretty decent. Body was obnoxious and I hated it. Farewell to God Is A Woman, it had a nice run and peaked pretty high. Finally, Big Mistake, this song is a bop and it will be missed greatly, it deserved more, but I figured it wouldn't last long.

HitBound
Dan + Shay- Speechless
Alessia Cara- Trust My Lonely
Twenty-One Pilots- Chlorine
Seeb ft. Bastille- Grip (DEBUT)
Zara Larsson- Ruin My Life
Imagine Dragons- Machine
Steve Aoki ft. BTS- Waste It On Me
Dean Lewis- Be Alright

James Arthur- Empty Space
Charli XCX ft. Troye Sivan- 1999 (DEBUT)
Khalid- Better
Lauren Daigle- You Say (DEBUT)
5 Seconds of Summer- Killer Queen

~Grip I haven't heard so yeah. However, considering how Happier got here, I'm going to say this has a slim chance of a debut by the past with Hits 1.

~Let's go to Nothing Breaks Like A Heart. It debuted when I didn't post the Hitbounds so yeah I'll tell it here. This is pretty decent. I don't see why it's good nor bad. Mark and Miley are both decent it what they do. At one moment I thought Miley was Lady Gaga.

~You Say... Lauren Daigle is okay. To be honest, its to slow for me. I think she trying to copy Adele which is inimitable so yeah the song is could care less. I can see this being a HitBound dropout or it debuting.

~Finally is 1999. I like both parts of both singers. I'm not a big fan of Troye, but he is better here. Again I don't care where this song goes, but there is a high chance considering that past Troye songs have made it.

Newcomers
~First is Taki Taki by a number of people. The song is pretty good. DJ Snake does well with the music. The other people, Selena Gomez, Ozuna, Cardi B do good on their parts. Overall it's good, I can't say any more because some of it's in Spanish. My prediction is a one-week song on here, yeah, sorry.

~Next is Be Alright by Dean Lewis. At first, this was decent and all, but after some more listening, this song turned out to be very good. I really like his voice and the lyrics and music are put in a really good way. Also, that chorus is especially good too. Prediction is a peak of #12 and 5 weeks on the chart.

~Finally is Back To You that song from 2017 that I mentioned before. So, I was listening to all the songs I've listened to in 2018 and I hear this and I was like wow. The vocals are great from both and DFA (Digital Farm Animals) does good in his work. Prediction is a peak of #2 and it'll for about 3 months on here.

Back To Blurbs
~I thought that Spectre was dropping out this week, guess I was totally wrong.

~The Other Side takes a big drop which I knew would soon happen.

~At this point there is probably no way that Different World and Baby can reach #1.

~I didn't think that thank u, next would last another week, guess I'm wrong.

~It's hard to do blurbs for my own chart because it's opinion-based so my feelings are right in that chart, but I can only do some many.

Year-End Posts of 2018

Here are the links to my Year-End 2018 lists!

Top 10 Worst Songs of 2018

Hello to my first year-end post. What my other bloggers do first is always the worst list of songs. 2018 was a big let down with pop fading and rap and hip-hop becoming super big. I don't want you to read a lot so this can be short and sweet.

#10-Without Me-Halsey

Ok, to start off this list is Without Me which didn't come out that long ago. Anyways, this song is complete garbage. This is a song that you can hear the autotune throughout the whole thing. I know she cried while recording, but why would you want to put out yourself crying in a song where it is complete trash. It's somehow becoming a big song, which I can't understand.

#9-Te Bote-Spanish People (No Offense)
Te Bote...Um...song is bad. I mean I don't understand Spanish, but its annoying and I'm just going to leave it at that.

#8-Never Be The Same-Camila Cabello
Ah yes, this song, a bad follow-up to the song Havana. She sounds weird and that screeching makes want to punch the radio or throw my Chromebook against the wall or snap my headphones in half. This song is annoying and her screeching is obnoxious and also it's slow and boring so I don't like this song.

#7-Don't Go Breaking My Heart-Backstreet Boys
Don't get me started and this song or the band itself. They should've stopped after the 21st-century came around, but I guess that never happened. At this point, all they want is attention from all their fans back in 1999 and this song is a bad way to come back. They try to hard to sing and the higher notes make my ears bleed. Hopefully, I won't have to hear a song like this again.

#6-Delicate-Taylor Swift
Ok, here is Taylor Swift, an artist I don't really like, and a bad voice and bad song. This all equals this song. The song is really bad I don't like Taylor's voice and the song just feels weird, but I don't know in what way. Also, radio kind of killed it even more, so it might've not been on here if I hadn't heard almost every other time I'm listening to a radio.

#5-Stoopid-6ix9ine ft. Bobby Shmurda
Okay, this is only one of three songs on here just to say. Anyways, the song name says it all, it's stupid. I don't see why Daniel Hernandez needs to scream this song for 3 minutes. The song is messed up and his lyrics have no straightforward meaning so, yeah the song is trash and annoying and I don't want to hear this ever again.

#4-Mo Bamba-Sheck Wes
I know you guys might not like "It's a fun song" and I get that, but why does he need to hold out every word of the song. I can't understand what he's saying and why because he holds out one word for like 2 minutes. The beat is bad too. It's a very unusual and bad beat for a song like this.

#3-Gucci Gang-Lil Pump
Surprise, surprise looks what on here. This song is bad and I don't get why people like this song. He talks about drugs and cocaine and stuff. He mumbles most of the songs and literally the words "Gucci Gang" are more than half of the song in time.

#2-Fefe-6ix9ine ft. Nicki Minaj
Oof, this song is trash. I mean I feel like Nicki Minaj had made the worst decision in her life. This whole song is bad "Eeny meeny miny mo, catch a ho right by her toe, if she ain't f'in with Tekashi, then let her go" That whole line is about assault which makes me want to feel good 'bout him going to jail. The beat is trash too.

Now, before we get to #1 (which you should've figured out) here are some dishonorable mentions. I also won't put anything about the song. There are all bad whether its the beat, vocals or lyrics.

DHM #1-I like me better-Lauv

DHM #2-Bed-Ariana Grande ft. Nick Minaj

DHM #3-Sober Up-AJR ft. Rivers Cuomo

DHM #4-Wait-Maroon 5

DHM #5-X (Equis)-Nicky Jam & J Balvin

DHM #6-Best Friend-Sofia Tukker, NERVO, The Knocks, Alissa Ueno

DMH #7-Thunder-Imagine Dragons

#1-Gummo-Daniel Hernandez
All I'm going to say is that this guy is completely messed up. To drop that many n-bombs in one song is disgusting. All of the curse words, too. He screams it and the beat...I can't even hear a beat because of how loud this guy is. This is by far one of the worst songs since I've been alive.
